UPCOMING PTA/SLT MEETINGS
All NYC Public Schools are currently closed
Our building will be closed effective Monday, March 23rd in accordance with the state mandate that all New Yorkers stay home from work. Students who still need technology to work from home should complete the DOE Survey found on the Department of Education website schools.nyc.gov or by clicking the DOE Technology Survey button in the next box. Families can also call 718-925-5100 (and press 5) to request a device.
STUDENTS - If you do not have devices at home....
The NYC DOE will be providing internet-connected devices to families who do not currently have them at home. Families are asked to complete a survey sharing their best contact information as well as whether they have access to a smartphone, a laptop/tablet/computer, the internet, or none of the above. This information will be used to prioritize device distribution and the NYC Department of Education will be contacting families directly to provide a pickup location.
Attendance - students should check their queensmetro email every morning by 8:00 am for the 'Daily Attendance' link.
Please sign in with your Queens Metro Email and check in every school day by 10 AM. If you do not check in before 11:59 pm daily, you will be marked ABSENT for the day.
Staff Virtual Office Hours - Looking to speak to a teacher and don't know how to contact them?
Send the teacher an email and they will reach out to you to arrange a time for a phone call or teleconference. You can find teachers email addresses and 'office hours' here
