The DOE’s Parent University invites NYC families to a series of virtual courses on social-emotional learning (SEL). In these courses, families will learn strategies and have access to tools that promote a successful learning environment for their children. Courses will be conducted in English, Spanish, and Chinese, and taught by DOE partners at Ramapo For Children.

The  DOE’s Parent University seeks to educate and empower all families from early childhood through adulthood, with free courses, resources, events, and activities. Parents can register for free trainings on a wide range of topics, including adult education, student social-emotional learning, and special education.

A Guide to Google Meet for Parents and Guardians
With the COVID-19 pandemic, many parents and guardians have found themselves in the role of part-time teacher and IT technician — on top of their existing responsibilities at work and home. We created a guide to help make things easier for parents juggling their many roles at home.

New Resources to Help Families Navigate Technology
Explore Google's new hub for families with helpful information about popular apps, parental controls, online safety and wellbeing, digital activities and classroom tools. Find tips, resources, and content from Common Sense Media, Sesame Workshop, PBS KIDS, Headspace, and more.

Did you know that you can track your child’s education on any computer, phone, or tablet? You can also sign the COVID consent form, right in the NYC Schools Account (NYCSA). You can sign up for an account by entering a few basic details. This will allow you to begin receiving notifications from the DOE. It only takes five minutes, and it is the first step in getting a full account.

If you need help in obtaining your Account Creation Code or need to reset a password, please contact our Parent Coordinator, Kim Ramazan, at 718-286-3612 for assistance.

Pupil Path is our on line grading system.  Parents and students are provided with a registration code at the beginning of every year to set up their online account.  PupilPath allows students and parents to view classroom assignments, student progress, and provides a platform for direct communication with teachers.

We encourage parents to set up their parent account.  Please email Ms. Ramazan at to get instructions and your Registration Code.

E-mail is our preferred method of communication.  All QMHS faculty and staff have a DOE e-mail address and a school Gmail address whereby parents can communicate with their child’s teacher.  All staff can be reached via email with their first initial and last name

Our Parent Coordinator, Kim Ramazan, is located in the main office.  She is the liaison between home and school.  She sends weekly e-mails to update parents on what is going on in and around our school. To be added to her email distribution, email her at  or call 718-286-3612.
